Kyle’s journey into the world of social liquids began with a passion for homebrewing that led him to the Siebel Institute and the World Brewing Academy, where he earned a degree in Brewing Technology. He spent five years as the Head Brewer for the award-winning Roadhouse Brewing in Jackson Hole, leading production and formulating world-class recipes. Seeking a new horizon, Kyle moved to Maui, Hawaii, where he founded the Maui Beverage Company and launched Pauwela Beverage Co., a line of island-inspired probiotic sodas and kombuchas.
While his roots are in traditional brewing, Kyle became fascinated by Kava’s unique ability to facilitate connection without the "next day grog" of alcohol. A lover of fine beer, wine, and craft cocktails at heart, Kyle created Vaui to offer the flavors and rituals of a premium libation - leaving the hangover behind in favor of functional clarity.
Matt Blanco - Co Founder
Matt Blanco is the high-octane energy behind the Vaui mission. He cut his teeth in the high-stakes world of music as a band tour manager, a role that taught him how to "herd cats," solve the impossible, and keep the show running no matter what. Matt transitioned that drive into a formidable sales career, spanning the CPG landscape and the legal cannabis industry before serving as the Head of Sales at Maui Beverage Co.

Cady Cox brings a unique sense of rhythm and precision to Vaui Social Tonics. With a background in modern dance, Cady understands the importance of flow, a skill she seamlessly transitioned into the beverage world as the Head of Marketing and Outreach for Pauwela Beverage Company. As our ultimate brand curator, she ensures that every Vaui experience is as visually stunning as it is socially fulfilling.
